PRESCHOOL DISABILITIES PROGRAM (PSD)

The Preschool Disabilities Program (PSD) is offered to students between the ages of 3 and 5 who have been identified with a 33% delay in one area or a 25% delay in two or more of the following developmental areas:  Social and Emotional, Fine and Gross Motor, Communication, Cognitive, and Adaptive, or has an identified disabling condition, including vision and hearing, that adversely affects learning or development and who requires special education and related services. 

The Program is offered in a self-contained or an integrated setting, based on the student's individual needs as outlined in the students' Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

IN-CLASS RESOURCE PROGRAM (ICR)

Students are provided with modifications to the instructional strategies, testing procedures or other specialized instruction to access the general education curriculum within the general education classroom in accordance with the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

PULL-OUT RESOURCE REPLACEMENT (POR)

The general education curriculum and the instructional strategies may be modified based on the student’s IEP.  The subject areas are taught in a small group setting and in accordance with the levels of academic achievement, learning characteristics and management needs of students.

LANGUAGE AND/OR LEARNING DISABILITIES PROGRAM (LLD)

The LLD Program is organized around learning disabilities or language disabilities or a combination of both. This small educational setting offers the opportunity for highly individualized instruction by a teacher who holds state certification as a teacher of students with disabilities. 

Students may be offered discrete trials and applied behavior analysis as outlined in the students' IEP.

Students have the opportunity to participate in general education classes with grade-level peers for their special area classes.  These may include art, digital citizenship, music, health and wellness, and physical education.

EMOTIONAL REGULATION IMPAIRMENT PROGRAM: STUDENTS EVOLVING EMOTIONALLY, DEVELOPMENTALLY, SOCIALLY (SEEDS)

Students are instructed in a small group, therapeutic classroom setting with access to the general education curriculum for grades 4-6. Through differentiated, multi-sensory instruction, mindfulness practices, and wellness strategies; students are empowered to self-regulate and build resilience. The program includes positive reinforcement, integration of calming techniques, social skills, counseling with a school-based clinician, and therapy dog visits throughout the school year. Hybrid schedules are offered with support and/or modifications as outlined in the students' IEP.

Students are instructed by a general education teacher around a single content area with other students with disabilities.  The general education curriculum is adapted to meet the student’s needs per their IEP.

LEARNING AND/OR LANGUAGE DISABILITIES PROGRAM (LLD)

The LLD Program is organized around learning disabilities or language disabilities or a combination of both. This small educational setting offers the opportunity for highly individualized instruction and the integration of life skills by a teacher who holds state certification as a teacher of students with disabilities. 

Students have the opportunity to participate in general education classes with grade-level peers for their elective courses.
