Food Service

Students from families that meet Federal income requirements may be eligible for Free or Reduced Price meals. Each family must submit a new application every year for evaluation by the district’s central office. No prior year application versions will be accepted. Applications are sent home with children during the first week of September and must be returned by September 24, 2018. If you do not receive an application, please call the school your child attends or you can download the application using the links below. If you download the application, you still need to fill it out and send the application back to the school your child attends or mail it to: Emerson Board of Education, 133 Main St. Emerson, NJ.07630

Eligible families qualifying for free or reduced meals will be notified by mail.

Students who were eligible for Free or Reduced Price meals during the 2017-2018 school year (in Emerson Public Schools) will automatically be eligible for the same benefits for the first thirty days of the new school year which expire on October 8, 2018. After that date, the child will pay full price for meals. For continuing benefits, a new application should be submitted for processing before October 8th
